The Alliance’s vision is to achieve outstanding outcomes for all students, regardless of ability or background in its Family of Schools. The strength of the curriculums will be underpinned by our clear Curriculum Intent Statement, which explains how we are preparing our students for the world of work in an expanding, vibrant Milton Keynes at the very heart of economic development in the Oxford to Cambridge arc. This will not only manifest itself in the opportunities that we will offer our students in the classroom through our outstanding curriculum, but also beyond in a broad and diverse enrichment programme.
The key to achieving our vision for outstanding outcomes will be to:
- Appoint motivated and highly qualified teachers, who are encouraged to join our team through the opportunities that our five Partners; the Denbigh Teaching School Alliance, Enigma Maths Hub, Computing Hub, Tommy Flowers SCITT and Science Learning Partnership offer.
- Recruit and develop teachers through the SCITT, Teaching School and Maths Hub to act as ambassadors, mentors, and coaches to the next generation of teaching professionals.
- Exploit our advanced, technical business community which is flourishing through the Cambridge to Milton Keynes to Oxford arc. They will be able to provide the depth and enrichment which will bring the curriculum to life and provide real-world examples and a context for their learning.
