STEM & Arts Awards

Denbigh Alumni, Emily Egan, was our guest of honour at the STEM and Arts Ceremony held at Denbigh School on Monday 10th June. After taking her GCSEs and A levels with us, she secured a place at Royal Holloway College, University of London, to study Comparative Literature and Culture with Film. Following graduation Emily worked in the publishing industry, writing and producing content for magazines in London. During this time Emily discovered a passion for technology and decided to pursue a career in the Technology and Innovation sector. She started with a job in a small Virtual Reality Start Up and then secured a job at Pearson, which is the UK’s biggest Education Company. Emily’s role involves designing and producing immersive learning products for organisations around the world. On Monday, Emily awarded Denbigh students with their prizes and talked to them about her experiences in this exciting, innovative technology sector. Thanks to Emily for sharing her successes with Denbigh students, we look forward to welcoming Emily back to Denbigh again in the future.
