Our Year 13 students are on their way to the country’s top universities after excelling in their A Level exams. The students, for whom A Levels were their first experience of public examinations after their GSCEs were cancelled due to the pandemic, showed huge resilience and determination to record outstanding results. The success stories do not end there with students thriving in the very competitive degree apprenticeship market and securing jobs where they can work and study Mechanical Engineering, Town Planning, Business Management and Quantity Surveying. Three of the School’s sports stars are pursuing their sporting dreams, competing on the national badminton circuit, and training to be a coach at Chelsea FC.
Head of School, Dr Andrea Frame said: ‘I am so proud of our students’ achievements this year. They have faced disruption and uncertainty from the pandemic for the whole of their Sixth Form experience, and yet they have remained calm, been resilient and adaptable and worked extremely hard to achieve these outstanding results. I am also thankful to our staff who have supported and inspired them throughout their time at Denbigh’.
