Kalyan Manoj from Year 7 is a rising star in the world of badminton. He is currently ranked number one in the country in his U13 age group and is an English National Champion. Kalyan is incredibly dedicated to his sport and competes across the country, often against players much older than him.
Kalyan is a member of the Junior Performance Pathway Squad run by Badminton England and trains incredibly hard at the National Badminton Centre. He has just returned from the National Badminton Championships where he won Gold in the Boys Doubles and Bronze in the Mens Singles and Mixed Doubles. An amazing achievement. Kalyan is definitely one to watch!
